CPG’s Trump Tower 94% presold
Century Properties Group Inc. (CPG), the property firm of former ambassador Jose E.B. Antonio, said it has already pre-sold 94 percent of its integrated high scale residential, office and commercial tower in Century City, Makati City—two years ahead of its project completion.
CPG Director for Investor Relations Kristina Garcia said the strong demand came from high-net-worth Filipinos and foreign nationals, citing the Trump brand’s prestige, assurance of quality and exclusivity, choice location and five-star services as the main drivers of unit purchases.
“The successful sales of Trump Tower is a strong indicator of the power of Trump and how Century Properties has maintained its solid position as a key developer of first-class residential developments within the central business districts of Metro Manila, while it continues to diversify into other market segments,” Garcia said.
Trump Tower is an integrated residential, office, retail and commercial upscale tower which is a joint venture of CPG and the Trump Group.
The building has over 250 units with expected sales at P6.13 billion, making it as one of the most expensive and successful projects in the country and Southeast Asia alike.
As of early January 2015, the building’s construction has already reach 27th floor.
The Trump Tower offers premium units ranging from 60 square meters (sqm) for a Suite to over 400 sqms for a Penthouse.
“We would like to congratulate our great partners, Century Properties Group, on this very exciting accomplishment. Together, we have done something very special and this fantastic property will set the standard of luxury and quality in the Philippines and beyond,” said Donald J. Trump, chairman and president of the Trump Organization.
“We thank the Trump Organization for putting its confidence in the Philippines and for trusting Century Properties to execute this project. Putting a Trump Tower in the Philippines is Century’s contribution to making Metro Manila an international destination. We are overwhelmed by the response from the market to the Trump Brand and are grateful, as this now affords the city one of the most luxurious buildings in the world, comparable to the city centers of New York, Hong Kong and Singapore,” said Century Properties Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jose E.B. Antonio.
Incorporated in 1975, CPG is involved in the real estate business through its wholly-owned subsidiaries: Century City Development Corp., Century Limitless Corp., Century Communities Corp. and Century Properties Management.
